My site's background isn't white. How do I get the border of the player to match my website instead of being white?
My site's background isn't white. How do I get the border of the player to match my website instead of being white?
Solution
The default background color is white for the players because it's the most popular background color. You can modify your code to match it up to whatever your background is, though. Here's how it's done:
Within your FLV Producer code there are two spots where you'll see something that says: "bgcolor = ffffff"
That ffffff is the color code for white. If your background is black, you'd change that code to 000000 (zeroes, not o's). For other background colors, you'll need to get the code from your website's html. You'll usually find it close to the top of the code, near the first "body" tag. It usually says, "body bgcolor=xxxxxx". Just take that color code and replace the "ffffff" in your FLV Producer code to match.
If you're using the javascript method, you'll open the .js file in Notepad or other text program and modify it there.
